Research Collaboration

With the generous innovation and research contribution of £12,000 from the ERDF (European Regional Development Fund) BioMonde is completing research on the structure and effect of larvae secretions of the fly strain Lucilia sericata. This EU grant funding supports BioMonde’s commitment to research and development to meet unmet market needs through the understanding of the capabilities of the natural power of larvae.

This funding provides BioMonde with an opportunity to complete in-vitro testing of larval secretions to identify future product application opportunities. BioMonde is dedicated to successful outcomes for patients and this fund allows BioMonde to invest in the future of larvae in healthcare and support the growth of manufacturing in South Wales.
