We ended March by welcoming seven specialist clinicians from across the UK to tour our aseptic facility and see how our unique BioBag products are made.
The visit provided an opportunity for our team to share their expertise in larval therapy, while also offering guests valuable insight into the stringent processes that ensure sterility and the reliable delivery of larval therapy for clinical use.
The day began in our boardroom, which overlooks the lab – a reminder of the exciting day they had in store! The team delivered an introduction to BioMonde, followed by a deeper dive into the science and history behind larval therapy.

Our R&D Project Manager, Micah, then guided the group through the facility, explaining each stage of production – from the place where it all begins, the fly room; through to the carefully controlled sterile environments.
It was a pleasure to host such an insightful and engaged group. Commercial Director, Ian, and Clinical Support Manager, Vicky, look forward to reconnecting with the clinicians over the coming weeks to continue supporting their understanding and use of larval therapy in their respective clinical settings.
